My favorite character was Joseph. Although his brothers meant their actions for evil, God turned it around for Joseph’s good and victory. Sometimes we have to go through the process to see the manifestation of God’s glory. Hallelujah!!!!

I decree and declare that I will no longer let the negative thoughts in my mind hinder or stop me from doing what is required, doing what is needed, doing what has been commissioned by the Spirit of God to move forward it the plan and purpose that God ordained for my life. It is not the devil that has caused me not to move forward; it is me!

From this moment forward, my mind will be controlled by Holy Spirit!!! My mind and body will obey!!! I will exercise the fruits of the Spirit in Gal. 5:22-23, especially in faithfulness and self control. The enemy will not be able to use his 3 weapons to penetrate my space any longer with lust, greed, and pride.

As Rom. 12:21 say, I (Carmen) am the body of Christ and satan has no power over me!!!

Job – Being a righteous man, he did not cuss God and was restored with more that he originally had.
Joseph – From the pit to the palace; all while trusting in God and living righteously.
Ruth – willing to follow a way of life that she saw someone else faithfully doing and in the end receiving God’s best for her life.

All waited well, in faith and obedience, and God saw them through.

Two people come to mind when I think of parallels of my life. I think of Joseph who experience adversity from a young age and seemed to happen throughout his whole life. In spite of the constant twists and turns he reached victory and was able to save his family. I also think of Hagar who was minding her own business and wanted to her life to have some meaning just a her adversaries. In the end God promised he Samuel and she was able to offer Samuel back to God.

My favorite character in the Bible that I love that gained the VICTORY is Queen Esther. She was obedient to GOD and followed his led in her life despite she felt. I love that she found her identity and she walked in it with authority. She was Blessed and a Blessing to help the people. She watched how GOD favoured her and how her Uncle received the favour of GOD for taking her in after her parents died. I love love the story.

Queen Esther. When she put aside her own fear, found the courage to obey God and realized who she was, she excepted the postion God had placed her in to be a help to His people. She was able to walk in purpose and seize the opportunity she had been afforded.
