In the former world of our forefathers, God spoke to us as human people by the prophets. He established a relationship with people through the messages that He sent by the prophets. But in the times that we live in now, God speaks to me and you Himself through the name of His own Son, Jesus Christ, whom He has appointed heir to all things in heaven and all things on earth. (Hebrews 1:1-2) This is the same Christ Jesus by whom God made the world and established everything in it by creating everything Himself through Christ. So that there was nothing that was made in the beginning of creation that was not made by Christ. He is the beginning of all the universe in time, space, and matter, and all the universe outside of time, space, and matter. So you see, Christ is the beginning and the end of all existence. This means:
Life, as we know it, is lived through Christ, not just for now, but for all eternity. And this is true; it is a fact whether we believe God or not.
This tells me whether we serve Him or not, we all belong to Christ Jesus (John 1:3). In the universe, we breathe by Him. We live by Him. We travel beyond the universe by Him. Wherever we find ourselves, we are still in the presence of Him. In whatever state we are in, we live forever in Him (Psalm 139:7-10). Whether our eternal resting place brings us to the glorification and celebration of eternal life, or the damnation and devastation of eternal death, death is to be experienced through Christ, for it is Jesus that died once and for all – for all human beings (1 Peter 3:18). Whatever way we experience that which is beyond the here and now, we do so (whether we know this or not) through the hand of God.
The Bible says that Man is the glory of God (1 Corinthians 11:7). Our lives are a reflection of how much grace and truth we allow to come into it. When I received Christ, I accepted His glory. When one denies Christ, one is rejecting His glory, even though that same person is living in His grace. This means that the person has not accepted Truth – for Christ is the beginning of Truth.
There is no other option for Truth. It either is or it isn’t.
The Bible says that Truth is through Jesus Christ (John 1:17). For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. So what do we see in this?
There is no alternative for Truth. The only other option is to live a lie.
You are in Him! This is a truth worth knowing. Experience it. Experience Him! Everything worth knowing about your life is in Him.
For in Him we live, move, and have our being. Acts 17:28
