Proverbs 6:22 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. This verse is powerful because once the foundation is laid, it is difficult to divert from it. Somethings we may stray but we come back to the foundation and hopefully build on it. My mother provided a strong foundation and it shaped me into the woman I am today. The Biblical foundation left a strong impression on me and I may have strayed a time or two but returned to my roots.

What does Proverbs 22:6 say? Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. (Rainbow Study Bible). So Proverbs is showing me how I must continue to allow myself to stay in a training position even when the victory comes. This takes and reminds me of when God placed Dr. C in my life over four years ago and I’ve been allowed to gleam with all the things she does. And I ask myself how does she do it. And again God shows me how to let go and let God no matter what it feels like. “Again thank you Dr. C.”. I see how you’re with family and ministry reminds me of what you said to me Pat you are created 2 Produce keep the faith and don’t give up, you’re training me how to reign with the victory and success.

(TPT) Dedicate your children to God and point them in the way that they should go, and the values they’ve learned from you will be with them for life.

Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.

Proverbs 6:22 says “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” What I always loved above this scripture, was that it gave room for error with the promise of growth. Despite all the Godly or morally discipline and instructions a parent gave/gives still didn’t guarantee that that child would not make mistakes and stray from his/her teaching/training; however, with growth and maturity, he/she would turn back to their upbringing the training, discipline e and the instructions they received.
