In many cultures women have been mistreated and even cursed in the name of religion. Men and women have mistakenly used Scripture to defame the character of God and inflict pain, suffering, and mistreatment upon women. But God is not the source of this abuse and conflict. God is Just and a God of love. From the creation to the fall in Genesis chapters 1 through 3, God blesses the man and woman at least 9 times. On the other hand, there are only two Scriptures where God declares a curse, and neither was on the man and woman. Yes, Adam and Eve brought great suffering and death upon themselves and all of mankind, but it was not God who cursed them. Instead, God cursed something and someone else. Let’s see who or what it is.
Looking at the two Scriptures, tell who or what is cursed in:
Genesis 3:14: ____________________________________
Genesis 3:17: ____________________________________
In these Scriptures does God curse Adam or Eve?

Who was condemned by God from the beginning? Satan was condemned by God
Who chose to believe and act upon information outside of what they had seen and heard from God? Adam believes God chose to sin and eat of the fruit Eve offered him.
Who caused the constant state of conflict and condemnation that now existed upon the earth? Adam caused the state of conflict and condemnation in the world. God told Adam not to eat of the tree of good and evil. He knew the truth according to I Timothy 3:13-15 God created man and woman with everything they needed to live forever in His presence.
Who brought about the physical and spiritual destruction of man and woman? How? Our physical life expands decrease to 70 years which is the promise in the Bible New Testament and we were separated from God when Adam ate of the tree of good and evil.
To sin means to be found lacking, forfeited, missed, or condemned. Of the (4) key things given by God at Creation to man and woman, how many of them are now found to be lacking, forfeited, missed, or condemned since the fall? Mankind is lacking, forfeited, and missed the intimate relationship with God and Satan is condemned since the fall of Adam and Eve. We all are impacted by this great fall.
From what you have learned, what about you is so valuable that the enemy would devise a plan to steal it? My identity is valuable and comes from having an intimate relationship with God. The enemy does not want me to walk in dominion on the earth. He wants me to reject my identity as he did and denounce my identity.
Where did these things come from? Who gave them?
Of the (4) keys given by God at Creation, what is the significance of item one? Why is it the first target of attack? Eve identify was attack.
Based upon what you have observed does mankind (including women) today have a problem? Adam and Eve brought chaos and confusion into the world and all mankind’s relationships. That continues to impact all mankind until we find our spiritual identity in God.

God says there will be constant struggle after the fall. How? The ground was cursed and yet mourning and trivial waiting for the return of the Lord. The continuous struggle for mankind is subduing the flesh to be led by the Holy Spirit.

Looking at the two Scriptures, tell who or what is cursed in:
Genesis 3:14: Seprent
Genesis 3:17: Ground
Barbara Crater On June 14, 2020 at 1:37 pm
Gen. 3:14 Serpent was cursed.
Gen. 3:17 The ground was cursed.
Adam and Eve was not cursed, however the did receive life changing consequences for their actions.
There was no longer a perfect order, but now disorder and chaos.
God said in the beginning everything was good and very good. Gen. 1:31
Lucifer was condemned by God. Gen. 3:15
Adam and Eve choose to act upon the information.
I believe they both caused what happened because the both partook which I believe brought agreement.
I believe it was the power of agreement by excepting and listening to the enemy.
The choice Adam and Eve made brought conflict and condemnation.
They also brought physical and spiritual destruction because of it.
Yes mankind has a problem, sin is now in the world but thanks be to God that He sent His only begotten Son into the world and we have a choice to choose Him.

Satan, the serpent brought about physical and spiritual destruction of man and woman.
Gen. 3:1 tells us, “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden.”
Jerrelyn Gaines On June 7, 2020 at 7:57 pm
Satan, the serpent God’s enemy used deception and twisting of God’s instructions to mankind caused the constant state of conflict and condemnation that now exist with all human beings.
Jerrelyn Gaines On June 7, 2020 at 7:55 pm
Eve acted upon information outside of the boundary God had set for her and her husband, Adam. Then gave to her husband and he also acted by eating and disobeying the command of God.
Jerrelyn Gaines On June 7, 2020 at 7:55 pm
Satan, the serpent God’s enemy was condemned from the beginning!
Jerrelyn Gaines On June 7, 2020 at 7:53 pm
Gen. 1:31 tells us, “And God saw everything that He made, and, behold, it was very good.”
Jerrelyn Gaines On June 7, 2020 at 7:51 pm
Because of Eve choice to par-take of the tree of knowledge of good and evil she disobeyed a command of our spiritual Father instructs her gave to Adam and Eve. It was not only for their safety and well-being but for all of the human race.
Jerrelyn Gaines On June 7, 2020 at 7:50 pm
No, the Lord God does not curse either Adam or Eve in Gen. 3:14,17. God curses satan, the serpent and the ground.
Gen. 3:14 -15 tells us, “So the LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.
And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”
Jerrelyn Gaines On June 7, 2020 at 7:49 pm
• Genesis 3:14 tells us, “And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
• Genesis 3:17 tells us, “And unto Adam he said, because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

Looking at the two Scriptures, tell who or what is cursed in:
Genesis 3:14: the serpent was cursed
Genesis 3:17: cursed is the ground
In these Scriptures does God curse Adam or Eve? No, he pronounced their judgement for their sin
To the women, He greatly multiplied her sorrow and her conception, she shall desire her husband and he will rule over her
To the man, the cursed ground (thorns and thistles) will now cause him to toil and sweat for food and that he would return to the dirt (die physically) from which he was formed.
God says there will be constant struggle after the fall. How?
Their act of disobedience brought great suffering and death upon themselves and mankind both spiritual and physical death
What did God say about creation at the beginning?
God had blessed them in the beginning, they had perfect agreement and harmonious balance between man, woman and God.
Who was condemned by God from the beginning?
Who chose to believe and act upon information outside of what they had seen and heard from God? Eve
Who caused the constant state of conflict and condemnation that now existed upon the earth?
Adam and Eve & the seprent
God created man and woman with everything they needed to live forever in His presence. Who brought about physical and spiritual destruction of man and woman? How?
To sin means to be found lacking, forfeited, missed, or condemned. Of the (4) key things given by God at Creation to man and woman, how many of them are now found to be lacking, forfeited, missed, or condemned since the fall? Identity, resources, authority and wisdom were given to man and woman at creation to enable them to enjoy their dominion and guide the toward their destinies. All are lacking, forfeited, missed or condemned since the fall in some fashion or form. The judgements pronounced on Adam and Eve still affect us today until we come into the kingdom of God by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and even still, it’s not until we come into the knowledge of what we are leaning here in BYB, that we are able to lay hold to the promises of the new covenant, Jesus provided
From what you have learned, what about you is so valuable that the enemy would devise a plan to steal it? My identity and my authority
Where did these things come from? Who gave them? Every good and perfect gift comes from above from my heavenly Father
Of the (4) keys given by God at Creation, what is the significance of item one? Why is it the first target of attack? Like Eve, if we don’t know who we are, we forfeit the best God had for us in the beginning when he created us in his image and likeness. We bring chaos to all our relationships and throw everything out of sync
Based upon what you have observed does mankind (including women) today have a problem?
As we are in BYB right now discovering some of us for the first time, our spiritual identity, so the past 53 years of my life have been lived without this knowledge, my destiny would have been positively impacted if I didn’t allow myself to look for definition and purpose in all the wrong places, when all the while it was right there in the intimate relationship with my heavenly Father.

Wow, Kimberly! Great insights.
Dorothy Hubbard On June 7, 2020 at 3:58 pm
13. Yes there is a problem because we still waver in trusting Him. We can only change this by spending time with Him and his Word and building relationship. Adam brought about chaos in the Earth itself along with physical death and condemnation. Eve brought about chaos in marriages, family, womanhood and relationships.
